Donate to the Farmbucks Giving campaign

This Giving Tuesday, the South Island FarmHub is launching the Farmbucks Giving Campaign with the goal of supporting  local charities and regional farmers.

The FarmHub was created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Local farmers lost valuable restaurant markets, and needed to sell their produce. Simultaneously, food inequalities were exacerbated - it became even more difficult for many disadvantaged folks to access good, healthy food.

The FarmHub has been able to help close the gap through the Farmbucks Program. The program gives Victoria charities and non-profit organizations access to funds to purchase farm fresh food from producers in our region. Farmbucks support both farmers and our local community!

Help us reach our goal of $10,000. Your donation will help keep the Farmbucks program going, supporting  regional farmers and taking action to make farm fresh food accessible to everyone.

“We are very excited to team up with the South Island FarmHub. Their Farmbuck Program has enabled us to access more fresh, local produce. Helping local farmers is exciting and we love participating in local food security initiatives. Every day we feed 250 guests, 3 meals per day. They value and enjoy fresher and healthier foods.”
