As Production & Delivery Senior Assistant you will help connect our communities to healthy, local food by supporting local farmers and food makers in the region. You will receive, unload, sort and pack orders for FarmHub customers, including charities and schools. Through this role, you will be a front-facing representative of the FarmHub to our farm suppliers and customers.

You will be trained to fulfill outgoing customer orders, and to use our online marketplace to perform product listing, customer service, inventory management and reporting. Join Our Board and Lead Change in Our Local Food System!

Our parent charity, the Victoria Community Food Hub Society (VCFHS) is seeking new board members with experience in strategic leadership, governance, or social enterprise/small business development, to help guide an organization building food systems resiliency through innovation in the Capital Region.

At VCFHS, our purpose is to alleviate poverty and hunger by providing access to healthy food while fostering a local, food-based economy. We believe that through access to good food, education, and care, we can strengthen individuals, families, and communities across South Vancouver Island.

Our Board of Directors plays a vital role in shaping this vision — developing, implementing, and monitoring policies that empower our organization to do its best work.

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
