Customer Sales/Marketing,
Service & Communications Coordinator

Job Summary 

The Victoria Community Food Hub Society is seeking an innovative Customer Service Support, Customer Sales and Customer Communications Coordinator who is passionate about creating a vibrant local food system. This customer facing role requires one to wear a few hats simultaneously as they will be in a position of sales, service and communications as they interact with the customer base. This individual will take ownership of, and provide support in customer service and sales as well as communications/marketing initiatives in order to enhance brand exposure, build relationships with buyers and improve the customer experience. 

The South Island Farm Hub purchases food from local producers and distributes it to individuals, local charities and School Districts as well as wholesale buyers. This individual will manage the customer experience of our various buyers and work with a sales and marketing plan that will continue to open new markets for our farm partners and local food manufacturers. The South Island FarmHub is constantly evolving as we work to serve the local food economy in the CRD. The successful candidate will be able to adapt and pivot as needed, take initiative and also have fun with all the momentum the SIFH is gaining.
